A PIECE OF CAKE

I think A Piece of Cake is a great episode! It is extremely amusing (the best i've seen) and is very twisted. Instead of the usual straight 'cop' episodes this one includes excitement and humour. It was very well written with continuous smart cracks from both Nick and the action hungry Tony Timms (Timsy) ready with his camera and microphone. The fact that the review team appear without Nick knowing while Nick is boring Timsy to death showing him the most important 'things' a policeman must do: fill up the car with petrol, direct traffic away from a bale of hay and showing him that everything has a place and theres a place for everything... and then he puts the book in the wrong place. All these things add to making it a fantastic episode.

Blue Heelers is the best show around now a days. How can you choose a favourite? For instance, I especially liked "Piece of Cake" and  "It's the Deed not the Breed", especially since Dash took the starring role. Also, I liked it because the Heeler was sooo cute! But... TIMSY adopted it!!! Of all people!!! However, I do think that Adam, Nick and Dash should have better roles because their characters are so entertaining! No wonder they never win or get nominated for Best Actor or Best Actress!!! Oh well.

Well, there's many, many things I would like to say about this episode. Firstly, it's the episode which gave me faith that Australians can actually produce decent TV. Secondly, I want to try some of that sponge cake! Thirdly, that reporter guy - what's his name??? - should have tried to get Blanche Moore's phone number <g> Fourthly, we want more Nick based episodes. Nick is a much more amusing character than any of the others, particularly Maggie and PJ. Fiftly, Nick and Zoe should NOT have a long and drawn out romance reminiscent of Maggie and PJs which ended with... well, I'm sure you know. Sixthly, why bother watching the show when you can read amusing fanfics which mock everything decent that is Blue Heelers? Seventhly, the alien eater is coming. Prepare to be annihalated <g>
