Writer - Tony Morphett
Director - Graham Thorburn
Summary -
The episode begins at the railyards with police swarming everywhere. Monica Draper and Falcon-Price arrive together and are informed that Maggie was shot twice in the leg, once in the abdomin and twice in the chest which caused her lung to collapse, meaning everytime she breathed in the air pressure built up, crushing her heart. =(

All the Heeler's are told, and we see each of their individual reactions, then them trying to cope with the news as they go to work the next day, saying it was better to be on the job and trying to find whoever did it.
We also saw Pat and Mick Doyle's reactions to her death.

The investigations then began, and with the fake fight Maggie and PJ had, the message that was gone from PJ's answering machine (which only PJ had heard), and the fact that Mick denied PJ was ever going on Witness Protection with Maggie, the evidence piled up and PJ was suspected of killing Maggie.

A police pyscologist (Ellen McCarthy) was brought in and each Heeler individually spoke with her, talking about how they felt about Maggie and why they admired her.

After PJ had spoken with her he went to Maggie's burnt out house finding the engagement ring he'd given her.
PJ then went to the Imperial where Maggie was laid in her police uniform in a coffin and placed the ring on her finger.

The funeral followed, with Pat being unable to get up and say the eulogy so Tom ended up going up generally speaking about her, and how everyone loved her and that she was a great copper and a great person.
After the funeral Pat seemed to be questioning PJ's innocence, which really annoyed PJ, but all Pat wanted to hear was a definite no that he hadn't done it.

Quotes -
"So what do we do? We ah... we have a chat?"
"That's the basic idea yes"
"Right well you should know that I am a suspect"
"Oh?"
"Oh yeah well you see Maggie and I were going to get married and that instantly puts me in the frame because statistically we always look to the partner. You see Maggie and I were going to go away together, and I've since found out that.. well she was going to go without me"
"And that upset you?"
"Oh yeah bloody oath it did, you see I don't let go of things that matter to me easily... I really get stuck in... the thing is you know, being a suspect, it really gets in the way. Someone dies, someone you love dies... you just want to let it go. You don't really want people watching you, or taking evidence against you... sometimes I ah... (starts crying) sorry... ah... sometimes I actually wish that I went with her... because I know that I never ever would have left her... never"

- PJ and Dr Ellen McCarthy
"I only figured out yesterday that Doyle was going on Witness Protection... I certainly didn't know about PJ, but it's a logical assumption, I mean those two couldn't possibly live apart."
- Tom
"Tell me about Maggie"
"Maggie... she was... ah... like a big sister. She didn't rouse on you, she'd pull you into line... she came up to my arm pit, she was like my little big sister... she was the type of person that everyone loved"
