Summary -
The episode starts off with Tom having
a high speed chase, when the other vehicle suddenly goes off the road,
crashing into a creek. Tom discovers the boy is Tim Sullivan, and he calls
an ambulence, but he can see the boy slipping away and prays to God to
forgive him of his sins.
When the ambulence arrives, Tom's covering
up the body when the boy suddenly coughs and splutters sitting up.
The ambulence officer John then declares to the town that Tom has performed a miracle has Tom really questioning himself, seeking answers from Father O'Brien, and the towns citizens wanting answers and their own little bits of 'holy water' from Rabbit Creek on Keith Pervis's property.
The boy Tim is pressured by his mother
who tells him it's his second chance of life and his school friends tease
him about it.
Tom makes him work with Father O'Brien
a couple of times a week, and eventually Tim get's sick of everything and
tries to run away.
At the same time, many miracle seeking people are at the station wanting Tom to touch them and heal them, including PJ's mother who arrives and tells him she has 'holes in her lungs' (she finds out about Maggie and PJ while she's there) and a crippled man, who after touching Tom claims to be healed. After investigating they discover he was a fake, but the question still remains did Tom bring Tim back from the dead?
When Tom chases Tim who's run away, he
picks him up, but is called out to Keith's propery where someone (John)
has planted a bomb, and when they arrive Tim see's the bomb and risks his
life to save everyone there which shows he's starting to change his life
by caring about others and being unselfish.
