Summary -
When one of the beauty pageant contenders arrives at the station claiming to be stalked, PJ, Nick and Adam can't seem to keep themselves focused on the job.

Ms Debbie De Laurien says she's been having phone calls, and feels people have been watching her, but as Maggie says her main concern seems to be finding 'her artificial sweetness'.

Everything definitely seems to be smelling a bit fishy, when Debbie comes back into the station saying she left her keys in her car, and when Nick comes to the rescue Richard Elliot the local photographer is outside waiting to take a photo shoot.

Maggie and Dash are convinced it's all a publicity stunt as they can see past her looks, while the others think she's only vague because she's scared as she's been stalked.

Maggie and PJ go and talk to Debbie's boyfriend Daryl Sinclair, who Maggie describes later as 'the bimbo boyfriend,' who knows nothing of the stalker, and then Ron Marsh, Debbie's boss, who says she's good for the business because of her looks but knows nothing of the stalker.

When Debbie comes in with slashed lacey underwear she'd had on the line, Dash and Nick are sent over to protect her during the night from the stalker.
Dash is sent to buy milk, and when Debbie says she hears something in the backyard Nick goes to investigate, only to receive a blow to the head by a frypan.

Dash comes back to find Nick unconscious (he's then sent to hospital) and Daryl is checked on but he's half asleep having just woken up and his engine's cold.

The next morning they ask Ron Marsh where he was, but he says he was at home. His wife then says she knew he went out of the house and she knows he's having an affair with Debbie.
Ron claims with all the stalking business he decided to check to make sure Debbie was fine, but he only drove past and when he saw all the cops he turned around and went home again.

The Mt Thomas Gazette that morning had the story of Debbie's stalking and her abduction, and after asking Richard Elliot who'd written the story he told them he'd gotten the information from Media Liason, but after doing some investigating they found Media Liason wasn't open during those hours. When they confronted Richard with that he told them he wasn't able to reveal his source.

After some meddling from Chris and Dash, Maggie and PJ ended up with a bet on whether Debbie would turn up to the beauty pageant or not. The winner having to buy the other a french dinner.

The Heeler's had picked up Daryl for attacking Ron Marsh, and when Debbie didn't turn up to the beauty pageant (Maggie lost the bet), they twigged to the fact that if Daryl was Debbie's accomplice and he was supposed to let Debbie out of her hiding space, that he'd been locked up so there was no way he could have let her out.

They released him so they could see where he went, hopefully leading them straight to Debbie, however he went home and went straight to sleep.
They then suspected Richard Elliot of being the accomplice, and they asked him if he'd taken any previous photos of her.
He gave them a couple of photos of her at the old railyards, and after a while they thought maybe she'd gone and hidden herself there.

After searching the yards, they found Debbie, who immediately pointed the finger at Daryl, saying he'd locked her up and then left her there. He gave them one story, but then as soon as he was told what she'd said he immediately agreed not wanting Debbie to get in trouble.
Debbie got herself cornered however, when she claimed she'd never been to the railyards, so they produced the photos which stated otherwise.

Debbie then admitted that she'd hit Nick over the head, and said that all she wanted to do was win.

Maggie and PJ's date was supposed to be that night, but because of Chris and Dash's meddling, their wires were crossed and sadly the date never happened =(
